Kausani
Route : Delhi - Moradabad - Haldwani - Bhowali - Almora - Kausani Nestling amongst thick, dense pine forests, atop a narrow ridge, and separated from the towering mountains of the Nanda Devi range by low medium mountains, Kausani commands an incredible view of 300 km of silvery majesty of the Himalayan range. Baijnath (19km) – The temple complex at Baijnath has 18 shrines built in between the 9th and 12th centuries. Kot Bhramari, Tehlihaat (21km) – The temple 5 km from Garur,is dedicated to the incarnation of Durga who took the form of a wasp to kill the demon. This hill-seated goddess faces north-it is her back that the devotees worship. Bageshwar (42km) – It is located at the confluence of the Gomti and Sarayu rivers.  Vijaypur Wayfarer Retreat is located 30 kilometres beyond Bageshwar on the highway and 17 kilometres before Chaukhori. Some chambers are large enough to host an orchestral performance. The entry to the caves is through a narrow tunnel where one has to lower oneself in single file with the help of iron chains.
