Kot Bhramari, Tehlihaat (21km) – The temple 5 km from Garur,is dedicated to the incarnation of Durga who took the form of a wasp to kill the demon. This hill-seated goddess faces north-it is her back that the devotees worship. Bageshwar (42km) – It is located at the confluence of the Gomti and Sarayu rivers. Vijaypur Wayfarer Retreat is located 30 kilometres beyond Bageshwar on the highway and 17 kilometres before Chaukhori. Some chambers are large enough to host an orchestral performance. The entry to the caves is through a narrow tunnel where one has to lower oneself in single file with the help of iron chains. At the Retreat there are six rooms, all tastefully furnished, with attached fully tiled toilets with running cold water. Hot water is supplied in buckets.
